Does merging a PDF also reduce its file size?
This tool copies PDF pages into a new document. Reorder files and enter ranges such as 1,3-5 to keep only the pages you need. To meet an upload-size limit, use the PDF target-size compression tool instead.
Encrypted PDFs are unsupported. Page text and images are copied, but document-level bookmarks, interactive forms, digital signatures and attachments are not preserved. Keep the originals.
PDF target file sizeCompare the input and the result
These results copy pages from the supplied sources. Joining the two-page first file and three-page second file gives five pages. The extraction example uses pages 3,1-2 of the second file.

When the result is not what you expected
- The PDF cannot be opened or inspected
- Check whether it is password-protected. If you have permission, save a new copy in a PDF application and try one small file. Keep the original and use another PDF tool if inspection still fails.
- Signatures, forms or bookmarks disappeared
- This tool copies page content. Document-level digital signatures, interactive forms and bookmarks are not retained. If these are required, combine files in the original application and check submission rules.
